The purpose of the meeting is:

<li>To provide an overview of the study process</li>



<li>To share information on public involvement opportunities</li>



<li>To obtain input on transportation issues and needs within the study area</li>
</ul>



Interested persons may attend anytime between 3 PM and 6 PM.&nbsp; Exhibits will be on display and an audio-visual presentation will be shown continuously during the meeting.&nbsp; Project team members will be present to discuss the project and answer questions.



Individuals who cannot participate in-person can watch the audio-visual presentation and review exhibits shared at the meeting by accessing the Featured Projects page on idot.illinois.gov. &nbsp;Written comments can be submitted at the public meeting or after the meeting via email or mail. &nbsp;Comments received through December 4, 2024, will become part of the official public meeting record.

Also, Baby Show entries may be mailed beginning, July 25, 2025, to the Will County Fair Secretary, P.O. Box 578, Peotone, Illinois 60468-0578, through Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Please enclose child’s name, date of birth, copy of birth certificate, parents name and address, phone number, entry fee of $1.00 and a self-addressed stamped envelope so a copy of the completed entry form can be returned to you.</li>



<li>ENTRIES CLOSE at 8:00 p.m. C.S.T., AUGUST 23, 2025. NOTHING WILL BE ACCEPTED ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 24, 2024, the day of the Baby Show, since the books will be in the hands of the officials.</li>
