Junior Livestock Department Rules

8 - 21 years of age or in 3rd grade on or before September 1 of previous year

Registration papers are required for All Purebred Livestock in the name of the Junior Exhibitor. Must be made available for inspection and remain in Exhibitors' possession for duration of fair. Photocopies of registration papers not acceptable.

No exhibitor permitted to enter more than two breeds

All Animals must be Earmarked if Breeding Association requires.

All animals must be owned and registered by exhibitor for 30 days prior to opening of Fair. Must be clipped, cut and groomed or premiums will be forfeited.

Divided by weight into classes by Superintendent, as they see fit
Female or Male may be grade or crossbred and only shown in Market Class

Sub Classes - determined by Superintendent
Weight Class - 1216 & 1222 no more than 5 sub-classes each
Weight Class - 1219 & 1225 no more than 2 sub-classes each
